my hair is exactly the same. i really enjoy using bobby pins or skinny hand bands to pull my hair off my face. also, i use pomade (aveda's) to eliminate frizz. i love wavy/curly hair at shoulder length-it's glamerous and very oh so sexy. it's also in! if anything, try to embrace those waves. starlit waves from brilliant brunette (john frieda) works well for me!

You can wrap it up in a bun, you can get a special shampoo and conditioner for curly hair and wear it down. You can braid it into french braids or you can wrap your hair into ribbons.

try straightening it. all hair looks good when it is straightened. also try to curl it of sprunch it, if it natural. you could also put a little "bump" as people call it but it just gets the peices of hair or your bangs away from your face and you just put them up with pins. or you could do adult pig tails which are just low pig tails they are cute and sofisticated. i lve doing them for school. hope that helps.
