I would like to find something that I can cover my hair with at night beside something that looks like a turban or a pair of pantyhose. I want something effective that will not be a turn off to my boyfriend. He likes that I take care of my hair, but gets put off by the "grandma" look at night.

they have cute head scarves at most hair stores that have pretty flowers on them and come in many different colors... try those they wont scare him...

LOL...I'm not sure what the "grandma" look is but I personally would tell your man that that IS how you take care of your hair, and if he has any problems with it then he must not want to be in the relationship all that badly...sorry but that's JMO (just my opinion)

And you want to cover it so it can't breathe? It will stink come morning. Not so good for the scalp(where the hair originated from)

Satin pillowcases. I own betty dain satin pillowcases. They were $7 each. You can order them online or get them at Sally Beauty Supply or perhaps any other beauty supply store.
You can also buy satin turbans.
