I think it looks so choppy and wierd I've never seen someone TRY to bring the mullet back. And they did it..All these cute girls have this wierd cut, why?

I'm perfectly okay with the scene people, but I just don't like how they make it extreme like you showed in the first picture. It looks like 80's singers coming back in style and it's completely retarded. It's a shame, I mean I know people are allowed to chose their own personal style and I'm all for creativity but that's a bit overboard. So many of those girls could be soo pretty but they have to ruin their hair by styling it like that. But hey, I guess for some people that's "hot."

That's the onnly scene hairstyle I like to o(the second picture.) There are some scene people that make their hair cute without going overboard. Basically, that girl just sprayed her hair up on the top to poof it a little bit. The choppiness is terrible though in that other one!!!

It's been in style since mid-2007 I believe. I started really seeing it around September-Novemeber and it just started growing from there really. I mean, like at the end of 2006 or the beginning of 2007 it was weird to see someone with that cut, but now it's totally natural! I can't believe how far it's gotten!

It will be "in" as long as people have a passion for that hair style. Who knows? It might be in style for two more years, it might be in style for 60 more years! No one can predict the future, all we know is the present and the past.

^^Well, those are just my opinions and thoughts on the two cuts and the whole "scene" style, although I'm not quite sure this was the response you were looking for.

I really hate this hair style. A lot of the girls at my school have it. But they're mostly emo so... I think it just became popular in like the last year, maybe less. I hope it goes out of style soon, it looks stupid.

It is a cute shag i think it is in style and will stay in style everyone seems to like the rocker look. but i believe the shorter style is probably the best. the longer one is to mortisha adams

Unless your personality is as wacky as either of those hairstyles, only then can you pull it off. (And I mean that in a good way.)

However, the second one looks like it's trying WAAY too hard. I think I've only really ever seen Asians pull off the first look with success (I'm not trying to be racist - they look good with the first one).

Neither of these look like a Mullet. I know I wore my hair like that back in the day. These kinda look like a very long shag and I like the first one better than the 2nd, but probably because I hate the color of the 2nd one.

I think these styles are classic rocker chick but are not too up to date with the current trends. Take a look at Katie Holmes new short bob or Victoria Beckhams. These are the new trends in hair for this year. Messy hair, bedhead hair, and choppy layered styles are OUT in a big way. So get you flat irons out, you curly headed girls!
