same issue i have my hair is long and thick i hate doing it everyone says they wish they had my hair but i say no you dont lol!!!!!!! well sometimes i wear my hair in a high pony tail and put muss in it and it makes it really curly also i wash my hair out and rght after i comb it out and it is easy and soft also i like to get braids and sometimes putting your hair into a nice bun with some side bangs ar press and flat iron your hair hope i helped
