Is big hair attractive?

I am a black woman with natural hair. I don't have perm, but sometimes I run a flat iron through it once, just to soften it up. It is still incredibly poofy, and I usually just wear an afro, but today I wore it down and pinned up on the sides. My parents said it looked really bad, but I thought it was cute. Im just wondering if you all think if big hair is attractive or not.

I'm natural and black to and some people and sadly black people don't see the beauty in natural hair. you just have to love your hair even if every one is saying there is something wrong with it just letting your hair be what it naturally is. Afros are cute point blank, i know it and you know it you just have to wait for some other people to realize
