you should never color your hair when you're pregnant. they say the chemicals in the hair color can effect your baby. ask your doctor

Coloring my hair while i'm pregnant? #2?

I was told by several people that the chemicals can be bad for the baby. However I never asked my doctor I just played it safe and left my hair alone. If you really want to color it don't take any chances with the little one inside you and ask your doctor.

Ghost Poo:

You know you've pooed. There's poo on the toilet paper, but not in the

toilet. Where is it?

Teflon Poo:

So slick and easy you don't even feel it. No trace of poo on the

toilet paper. You have to look in the toilet to be sure you did it.

Goo Poo:

This has the consistency of hot tar. You wipe twelve times and you

still don't come clean. You end up putting toilet paper in your

underwear so you don't soil it. Permanent skid marks are left in the

toilet.

Second Thoughts Poo:

You're all done wiping and about to stand up when you realise...

there's more to come.

Pop a Vein in Your Forehead Poo:

This is the kind of poo that killed Elvis. It doesn't want to come out

until you're all sweaty, trembling, and purple from straining so hard.

Weight Watchers Poo:

You poo so much you lose several pounds.

Right Now Poo:

You'd better be within thirty seconds of a toilet. You burn rubber to

get there and it usually gets its head out before you can get your

pants down.

King Kong Poo:

This one is so big you think it won't go down the toilet unless you

break it into smaller chunks. A wire coat hanger usually works well.

This kind of poo usually happens when you're at someone else's house.

Cork Poo:

Also known as "floaters." Even after the third flush it's still there,

floating in the bowl. My God! How do I get rid of it?

Wet Cheeks Poo:

This poo hits the water sideways and makes a bigger splash than the

launching of the QE2, soaking your starfish.

Wish Poo:

You sit there all cramped up and fart a few times, but no poo.

Cement Block Poo:

You wish you'd got a spinal block before you pooed.

Snake Poo:

This poo is fairly soft, about as thick as your thumb and at least

three feet long.

Morning After Poo:

Happens the day after the night before. Normally your poo doesn't

smell that bad, but THIS one... Usually you're at someone else's house

(normally a girl you're trying to impress) and they're waiting outside

to use the bathroom.

Mexican Food Poo:

Also called "screamers." You know it's safe to eat again when your bum

stops burning.

Boo Hoo Poo:

Makes you cry with pain and wonder whether your should risk the

stitches or go for the fuller figure.

ofcourse u can colour ur hair during pregnancy only a little amount of hair dye is absorbed into the scalp, which is not harmfull

Coloring my hair while i'm pregnant? #2?

It has never been proven scientifically that you cannot color your hair while you are pregnant. I will include an excerpt from my book.

"Though evidence is limited, coloring your hair during pregnancy is probably safe. The chemicals in hair dye have been around a long time and no redefects. Plus, very little is actually absorbed into your system... To err on the side of caution, I would suggest waiting until after your first trimester to color your hair.

You can color yourself as long as you make sure to get the ammonia-free haircolor products. The ammonia in the dye is the only problem, because it can possibly make you sick and decrease the baby's clean oxygen supply, but as far as chemicals touching your scalp and soaking into your system to the baby...it's an old wives' tale. Do what you feel comfortable with, and if you start smelling strong fumes, regardless of the haircolor formula, make sure your dyeing area is well-ventilated so you're getting fresh air for both you and baby!

I was told that you can color your hair after the first trimester. Until then you will have to wait. :)

I am 5 months pregnant with my second and I have had it done both ways,But I color myself now.My son is fine. But I would wait till the second trimester.Congrats!

I colored my hair while pregnant and had no side effects

salon just for security i dont want you to spill the chemicals on yurself or someting

Coloring my hair while i'm pregnant? #2?

Coloring your hair while pregnant does not affect the fetus, if that is your concern. Your hair does grow weaker while you are pregnant, but whatever you decide to do good luck. You can go to the salon afterwards and get a deep hair treatment.

If you are in your 2nd trimester, it is safe. I'm 20 weeks and recently got a perm, and everything is fine. I asked my doc before I did it though. I would call your doc's office, and ask JUST to be sure. Anyone there should beable to give you an answer. But, if you are having a normal pregnancy, and your doc says yes, everything should be fine.

yeah color it!!!! Just make sure its well ventalated in the house cuz being pregnant the smell can hit ya a lil harder and u might pass out if its too strong. This has never happened to me .. and I have colored my hair while pregnant many times

Congrats

hi i tryed to dye my hair when i was pregnant it was supposed 2 b a light brown but came out very orange !!!!! i asked my hairdresser and apparently the chemicals in the dye react differently to pregnancy hormones also my sister used henna thinkin natural would be better but her hair went a funny shade of green so just be careful

Coloring my hair while i'm pregnant? #2?

You can definitely color your hair (I actually did ask my doctor this). He said go for it...you can do it yourself if you'd like. I personally go to the salon just for the pampered feeling I get...

Coloring my hair while i'm pregnant? #2?

It isn't so much the chemicals affecting the baby, it is the chemicals acting with the hormonal changes affecting you. Your hair changes when you are pregnant due to hormonal changes which with affect the chemicals in the dye. It isn't recommended cause it can really mess up your hair, like wrong color entirely, excess damage, etc.

I colour my own hair - it is probably better than a salon as you are exposed to less chemical fumes..........

some people go a bit over the top when they are pregnant.
